Description
Beautifully detailed bronze sculpture of Bodhisattva Padmapani, the lotus-bearer; one of the greatest Buddhist who was a favored form of Avalokiteshvara, the embodiment of Buddhist compassion. His raised hand holds the stem of a white lotus (padma) that blooms above his shoulder, serving to invoke the purity of Buddhist thought. This bronze statue is thought to have been crafted in the first half of the 20th Century. It stands at 42cm tall and worldwide shipping is available.
